Beautiful. Brilliant. Medium ruby with garnet reflections. Herbs, pronounced nose of dark red fruit, oak, balsamic. Some earthiness. Smooth but absolutely drying tannins, full bodied, highly acidic. Long finish, powerful yet more subtle and elegant than the other vintages, plenty of time for keeping to further develop, but already delicious.
